Children and adults love art! It's a natural way to develop, learn, and express feelings. It enhances creativity, stimulates imagination, develops critical thinking, encourages creative expression, and even boosts confidence and morale. Our art classes are an excellent way for art students of all ages to learn more about art, explore different drawing and painting techniques, create a unique piece, and have FUN. Art class take place at our studio conveniently located on Ritchie Highway in Pasadena, Maryland.

Action Art - Unleash Creativity!
Get ready for an art adventure where everything moves! In Action Art, young creators dive into a world of thrilling themes—superheroes, comic books, outer space battles, fierce monsters, and high-energy sports scenes. Each week, artists will sharpen their skills while bringing bold, dynamic ideas to life on paper and beyond. Expect plenty of drawing and imaginative problem-solving in this fast-paced, fun-filled class. Perfect for kids who love excitement and want their art to leap off the page! Action Art I ages 7-9

Art Exploration - Discover & Create!
Welcome to Art Exploration, the perfect starting point for budding artists! You don’t have to be “good at art” to be an art kid. This is where children experiment, discover what they love and gain the confidence that comes from realizing, “Hey, I can do this.” Art Exploration I ages 4-7
Teen Art - Artistic Freedom for Creative Teens!
Discover your unique artistic voice and grow your skills in a fun, welcoming environment! Teen Art Club is designed for students ages 12–18 who want to explore creative projects, experiment with new techniques, and develop their own art style alongside peers their own age. Whether you're just starting out or have years of drawing under your belt, you'll have opportunities to learn, share ideas, and get inspired. All materials are provided, and our instructor will guide you through projects while supporting your personal artistic journey. Join us to make art, make friends, and make something amazing! Elements of Art - Build Skills & Master Techniques

Sewing & Adult Sewing
Learn a lifetime skill in hands-on sewing class. Whether you're brand new to sewing or looking to grow your skills, you’ll create fun, practical projects while mastering the sewing machine. Our friendly, step-by-step approach builds confidence and creativity as you stitch everything from simple accessories to personalized gifts. Preschool Art & Storytime
This Toddler Art class is perfect for curious and creative toddlers and preschoolers! Join us on Friday mornings to create an art project any child and parent will be proud of! Sign up to register for one or all of our Toddler Art classes! Toddler Art ages 2-5
3-D Art Exploration
Some kids were simply born to build. 3D art gives those hands-on thinkers a place to experiment, engineer, problem-solve and turn the ideas in their heads into something they can actually hold. 3-D Art ages 6-12

Welcome to Preschool Art Class, a joyful introduction to the colorful world of art designed just for little hands—and their favorite grown-ups! This special parent-and-child class is the perfect way to connect and create lasting memories together. Each week, you and your preschooler will explore a variety of art mediums, from paint and pastels to clay and collage, sparking curiosity and encouraging creative play. Join us for a semester of discovery, laughter, and beautiful art-making moments you’ll treasure forever. Preschool Art ages 3-5
Adult Art Club - Create, Connect & Unwind
Looking for a creative escape or a chance to reconnect with your inner artist? Adult Art Club is the perfect space for ages 16+ to relax, create, and explore at their own pace. Whether you're picking up a pencil for the first time in years or you’re a seasoned artist looking for a supportive studio vibe, this self-led class offers the freedom to work on your own projects, chat with fellow creatives, and experiment with new materials using our art supplies. A friendly instructor will be on hand for guidance if needed—but this time is yours. Adult Art Club ages 16+
Digital Art
Digital Art with Procreate (iPad Required)
Procreate: They already know how to tap and swipe—now let’s show them what they can create. Procreate turns the iPad into an art studio where technology, illustration and imagination come together. Bring your imagination to life in this exciting digital art class! Beginner/Intermediate or Intermediate/Advanced
Inclement Weather Policy - PLEASE check the Artsy Partsy Facebook page for updates on closings due to inclement weather. Because we are in a populated location with students arriving by car, we DO NOT follow AACPS closings and will be open unless you see otherwise on Facebook.
What can my child expect during an art class, camp, event, or other activity at Artsy Partsy? We offer a wide variety of creative art experiences in mediums, such as: paint, clay, pencil, wood, and canvas. All students, from children to adults, are encouraged to express their creativity and expand their talents. Depending on the selection, they can expect to learn art skills, concepts, and principles for every level of artist. They will love drawing and painting by mixing colors, learn about different style of art, and rise to the challenge of trying out a variety of new art techniques.
How old does my child need to be to attend an art class, event, or activity at Artsy Partsy? Artsy Partsy has a wide variety of art experiences for kids of all ages. From toddlers and preschoolers to kids in elementary, middle, and high school grades, and even - adults, we have something for everyone.
Do you have single day camps for kids ages six years and up? We do. All art camps include convenient, customizable enrollment options to meet your specific needs. Choose full-week or single-day option and before and/or after care.
What’s that about merit badges for Girl Scouts of America and Cub Scouts? It’s true! Artsy Partsy specializes in art merit badges for Girl Scouts of America and Cub Scouts. We offer on-site at our studio or off-site in your neighborhood options.
